Looking after our supporters

Whether an individual, company or grant-making trust, each and every supporter of PET is essential to our work.

You help ensure we can continue providing educational opportunities to men and women in prison.

Since February 2017, PET has been a member of the Fundraising Regulator; we adhere to The Code of Fundraising Practice, and we aim for best practice in all our fundraising activities.

On this page, you can find links to the policies we have put in place to ensure that our support is always of a high standard.

We take any complaint about our fundraising activity seriously. Find out how to make a complaint.

Complaints policy

At Prisoners' Education Trust, we believe in the importance of respecting and protecting our supporters.

Vulnerable donors policy

PET is grateful for any donation given. However, there may be very rare circumstances in which we would consider refusing a donation.

Donation refusal policy

In order to track donations made to PET or manage requests for further information, we need to process information about you.

Supporter privacy notice

If you have questions about any of these policies, or would like to discuss any aspect of our approach, please get in touch with our fundraising team.

Thank you, as ever, for your interest and support.
