NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management

The course consists three units:

Entry Requirements: Level 2 English. A background or previous qualification in health and safety is strongly recommended.

Assignments: None, but ATM encourage learners to submit coursework for review and feedback

Exams: Units NGC1 and FC1 are assessed by a two-hour written examination. Each written examination consists of ten ‘short-answer’ questions and one ‘long-answer’ question.

Exams are sat in March, June, September and December each year.

The aim of the fire safety practical application (Unit FC2) is to assess your ability to complete a fire safety risk assessment in your workplace.

Prison Support Requirements: Support completion and submission of assignments. Organize and facilitate exams.
