The PET Advice Line was brilliant. They were a lot of help – they gave great guidance and were very informative.

Last year you helped us launch our first ever Advice Line and gave so many in prison a lifeline during lockdown.

One year on and our advice team has taken over 1,600 calls and supported people in over 100 prisons across England and Wales.

Whilst restrictions ease in the community, many people are still locked in their prison cells for 23 hours a day and the number of calls to the advice line is increasing every month.

With access to prison education departments still limited, our advice team’s expertise is essential in supporting people who are keen to learn.

We need your support to raise £15,000 to ensure we can meet the growing demand for education in prison and keep the line running this year.

Together we can give more people in prison the chance to make tomorrow better than today

Please note: In the event that we raise more money than we need to establish and run the advice line, we will use any additional funds to provide courses and support to people in prison during the lockdown and after it has ended.
