Prisoners' Education Trust needs your support to make sure men and women in prison are given the educational opportunities they need to change their lives. £425 will give a prisoner a distance learning course and specialist advice.
"Opportunities like this being available are the only hope."

You can help prisoners like Nathan in a number of ways:
Whether in your community, at work or school, with friends and family, there are lots of ways to raise money for PET and raise awareness of our work.
PET holds events throughout the year, and we’d love to see you there.
As a small charity there are lots of opportunities to support PET with your time and skills.
A gift in your Will to PET, after thinking of friends and family, will help PET ensure long-term policies provide for those in prison who want to learn.
A donation of any size makes a vital contribution to PET’s work, and a huge difference to the lives of those we support.
“When I received the ‘yes’ letter from PET, it made me the happiest young man in the prison. I felt that somebody was giving me a second chance and not just “shutting the door” on me and my future."
If you were formerly in prison and received funding by PET, or are an ex-prisoner with a strong interest in prison education, you can join our Alumni network. The network gathers several times a year to discuss personal experiences and thoughts on the future of the estate. PET also relies on the network to act as spokespeople for prison education, to encourage new learners to take up courses, and to share experiences with the policy makers and the public.
